There are two types of workshop available to you: an Administrative GIS Workshop or a Technical GIS Workshop. Administrative GIS Workshops raise awareness of the GIS software product and the administrative aspects of creating and running a GIS program in your school. Technical GIS Workshops focuses on integrating technology and the outdoors, interactive field trips into the classroom, etc. This includes Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and what they have to do with your schools campus and geographic surroundings.  Participants will learn how to gather geographic information, such as geo coordinates, and input this data into ArcMaps using ArcGIS Online software.
